The World Chess Championship chess pieces are FIDE approved for tournament and competitions. These fabulous chessmen have been designed from scratch by Pentagram architect and designer Daniel Weil with dimensions based on classical Greek Architecture. The chessmen are crafted from graded boxwood, balanced and weighted and features black and white felt bases. The included board is constructed from Mahogany and Maple veneers and is made in Europe from sustainable woods. Also included is a traditional wind up chess clock and a solid sheesham box to store the chessmen. The Championship chess pieces are supplied is beautiful branded packaging. A wonderful quality chess that that includes everything for the tournament player. Perfect for club and school club players.
