The Manopoulos ebony and grey oak luxury backgammon set is another stylish backgammon set from the 2018 collection. This set was chosen for our range in 2017 when we visited Manopoulos in Athens to discuss a completely new collection of wooden backgammon sets.

This stunning set has an Oak frame with real ebony wood inlays on the playing surface and outer panels of the case. The set features high quality metal work that is made in the Manopoulos factory, the level of finish and trim is excellent and there is little doubt that this is a very expensive and luxury product.

The grey colouring is what sets this set apart and makes it look modern and classy. The hinges and clasps are all colour coordinated in keeping with the contemporary look of this lovely backgammon set.

The set comes with equally high quality internals and we've swapped out the basic dice cups for superior models from Philos who are based in Germany. Also provided is a draw string bag that will store all the stones, dice and doubling cube.

The Manopoulos company were established in the 1970s and have grown to a considerable size while maintaining their family business ethics. The founder still oversees the daily running of the business while his two daughters also have a hands on roll in the successful running of this excellent company. We've always been impressed with their attention to detail, design and quality control.
