THE PIECES
Depicting typical Ancient Egyptian characters and artefacts, the sides are divided between ornately painted on gold or black and gold. As one of the most striking sets by Italfama, the Ancient Egyptian Themed Set gives you the ‘wow' factor as soon as you open the box.
As to be expected the Kings are easy to recognise. Royal figures often wore elaborate headdresses, the colour and size of which was defined by the significance or event. The blue and gold headdress, that we tend to associate with a pharaoh, is called a Nemes. A pharaoh is also recognised by his crossed arms, holding a crook in one hand and a flail in the other. Also easily recognised by her headdress, is the beautiful Queen sat very regally with a 'palms on knees' pose.
