This board is a commissioned design made by Rechapados Ferrer S.A. of Spain and is of a high grade veneer construction implementing beautiful black anegre around the border and edges of the board. At 60 cm in width and with a square size of 60 mm, this deluxe chess board is substantial in size. The playing surface is made from veneer squares of jet black anegre wood and light maple wood. The board is then finished in a rich deep gloss lacquer creating a chess playing surface with the deepest of blacks. Perfect for accompanying chess pieces with king heights of 4 to 11.43 cm (102 to 114 mm).
