Outstanding quality Italian-made erable chessboard in olive green. Finished in a very high-gloss lacquer, the wood grain and knotting of the burl looks very special, and has a rich depth of tone and wood patterning. The inlaid veneer squares are bordered with a thin veneer of redwood that sections off the playing area from the edge.

The underside of the chessboard features a lacquered wooden veneer and has felting pads to protect the surfaces underneath. The earthy green colour of this chessboard is best suited to either brass or ebony and boxwood, with a king height of 7.6cm.
